who is the big spoon/little spoon: Generally, Jessa is the big spoon, because she’ loves tucking her face right against the back of Marnie’s neck, the smell of Marnie’s shampoo all around her. But sometimes, Jessa will crawl into bed and draw Marnie’s arm across her stomach, because being held like that just makes Jessa feel grounded in a way she finds herself needing.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: They greatly enjoy watching terrible reality shows and trying to out-insult each other. Jessa also enjoys stealing Marnie’s label-maker and labelling everything in the apartment with dirty labels.
who uses all the hot water in the morning: Marnie. Was there any real doubt? Though Jessa’s pretty sure that just-woke-up-Marnie is one of her favourites; stripped down and vulnerable (and naked) and just hers.
what they order from take out: Jessa loves ordering from this Ethiopian place a few blocks down and has convinced Marnie to try almost every dish on the menu by this point (usually using sexual favours).
what is the most trivial thing they fight over: Everything. Seriously, fighting is their best form or foreplay.
who does most of the cleaning: Marnie. Jessa will clean (rather well, she thinks) and Marnie will just clean everything half an hour later so it’s all up to her standards.
what has a season pass in their DVR: Every trashy reality show, along with So You Think You Can Dance, True Blood, 2 Broke Girls and Grey’s Anatomy.
who controls the netflix queue: They actually have rather similar movie tastes, so it’s not really an issue.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Jessa, because she’s noticed that if she flashes just the right amount of cleavage, the heater gets fixed in about half the time. She hasn’t mentioned this to Marnie yet because the girl has a rather surprising jealous streak (which sometimes turns Jessa on a ridiculous amount).
who steals the blankets: Jessa moves a lot more in her sleep, so the sheets often get tangled around her legs and pulled away from Marnie, who has absolutely no problem with yanking on the sheets hard enough that Jessa nearly falls off the bed.
who leaves their stuff around: Jessa. Try not to die from not!surprise.
who remembers to buy the milk: Marnie has a grocery list that lists the items in the order she comes across them when going through the store. Jessa finds this rather hilarious.
who remembers anniversaries: They both do, though Jessa’s usually the one doing the planning because she knows how much Marnie loves being wooed by her. She finds obscure concert tickets, impossible-to-get restaurant reservations, the perfect star-gazing spots, just to see the smile that spreads slowly across Marnie’s face.
